A First Year Full of Joy

This was my very first year offering Christmas mini sessions—and honestly, I’m already so excited to do it again.

Each family that came out gave me such a gift: a few unhurried minutes to slow down, laugh, and capture memories in the middle of a busy season. I met some new faces, and a few even booked full sessions afterward—one for extended family photos and another for a birthday session for their dog (yes, that happened and yes, it was adorable!).

Every location had its own little kind of Christmas magic:

• Wildwood Christmas Tree Farm felt like stepping into a Hallmark movie—complete with the most delicious doughnuts.

• Pinewood Christmas Tree Farm gave us the classic tree farm vibes, plus a vintage truck setup for fun and festive variety.

• Sinking Creek Farm had a variety of backdrops, but the velvet couch setup in front of the evergreen trees stole the show for me. It felt warm, cozy, and perfectly Christmas.

But my favorite part? Knowing these images will be tucked into cards, sent to loved ones, framed in homes, or saved for years to come. That’s what makes this more than just a “ mini session” to me.
