10 Years, 3 Kids, and Whole Lot of Love

I’ve known these two since college—which somehow feels like yesterday and a lifetime ago all at once. It honestly blows my mind (in the best way) to look through the lens and think, “I’ve literally watched this story unfold from the very beginning.”

I travel to Chattanooga, TN often, and this golden-hour Chattanooga anniversary session was one of those “full-circle” moments I’ll never forget. golden-hour anniversary shoot was one of those “full-circle” moments I’ll never forget. It’s been the sweetest gift to walk through so many seasons with them—from their wedding day to growing their family, and now celebrating ten years of marriage with a session that marked both their anniversary and this beautiful season of life.

I photographed the kids back in the fall, and I couldn’t wait to get everyone in front of my camera for a full family session. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect—soft golden light, a gentle breeze, and that warm, glowy sunset that makes everything feel a little extra special.

The session was full of love, laughter, and just the right amount of silliness (plus a few well-earned run-around breaks). The kids were so sweet, and it honestly means so much to watch them grow up. The two girls were flower girls in my wedding, and now I get to photograph them as part of this beautiful family—how special is that?

While the kids took a little break, I snuck in some shots of just the two of them—ten years in, and still so connected and solid. We wrapped the session with a stop for ice cream, which honestly felt like the perfect ending to a session that already felt like a celebration.
